Exxon Mobil Corporation engages in the exploration, production, transportation, and sale of crude oil and natural gas. The company also engages in the manufacture of petroleum products, and transportation and sale of crude oil, natural gas, and petroleum products. As of December 31, 2008, it operated 16,286 gross wells. Exxon Mobil Corporation primarily operates in the United States, Canada, Europe, Africa, the Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Russia/Caspian region, and South America.

The company also has interests in electric power generation facilities.  It was formerly known as Exxon Corporation and changed its name to Exxon Mobil Corporation in November 1999. Exxon Mobil Corporation was founded in 1870 and is based in Irving, Texas.

What makes Exxon Mobil a beautiful company is that they are only one of three companies in the entire 2008 Corporate Equality Index put out by Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender activists to score a perfect zero.  No sexual orientation added to any of their categories of discriminators, no domestic partner benefits, no discussions of sexual orientation or gender identity as part of its diversity or sensitivity training.  Nothing.  Zilch.  Nada.

But that could change in the near future.  You see, since 2000, a resolution has been introduced by the GLBT activists to embrace these special rights.  In 2000, they only had 8% support.  By 2008, that support had grown to 40%!

Not only should you go out of your way to buy your gas at Exxon and write a letter telling them why, but also buy XOM stock so that you can vote as a shareholder annually to help them keep their perfect zero score.
